If you like it then you should have put a ring on it-OOTD

I liked it and it had a ring on it!

In not usually a big fan of dresses that are all one print (apart from leopard print and polka dots) I occasionally spy something with jaunty dogs on or frisky pony's but it always seems to scream "fashion blogger" and/or feels a bit curtainy.
So I surprised myself when I fell in love with this ring print dress by Simply be With its Peter pan collar and skater dress styling its extremely cute and after much umming and ahhing I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did.
Its a full on pattern, yes sir and I like it-a lot

Its in a fab stretchy jersey material and has a slight elasticated waist which nips in enough you don't need a belt (although I can't help thinking a bright red belt would look particularly fine with this)
Fab Peter Pan Collar, adorable print

I do get very frustrated at how few dresses feature 3/4 sleeves so love that this frock features them. Its rarely warm enough to go bare armed in the UK and having sleeves means I can leave the cardigans at home.

Its got sleeves-give me a whoop

The shape of this dress is slightly retro and I was feeling a little bit 1940's as I had roller set my hair using my new Babyliss hot rollers (review coming soon) so put it with some black tights and a blue hair flower and felt very cool indeed.
A blue flower in my roller set hair is just the ticket

I decided my hair style demanded some classic red lipstick so abandoned my usual bright pink lips for some red hot red by Beseme.
Sometimes only bright red lippy will do

As this dress has such an adorable print I kept my accessories to a minimum and just put on a blue shamballa bracelet.
There is no denying that full on prints make massive bangers look even bigger but I think the days of dressing to "minimise" shape should probably be relegated to the Trinny and Susanna era-avoiding busy patterns isn't going to convince anyone I'm a B cup and life's too short not to buy things that are so pretty they make you want to twirl when you wear them.
So all over patterns aren't particularly "slimming" do I give a ding dang? No I don't

Buy what you want, wear what you like. If people don't like it, sit on them.
